An Ayla
A story of running away to find yourself, again and again. A mostly factual retelling of fictional events, born from asking everyone I’ve ever loved about the adventures we dreamed up but never took. I stitched them together into one sprawling journey, just for you. Every ounce, every second, every breath is rolled into a TED-Talk-sized adventure; complete with acrobatics, falling in and out of love, and one very unfortunate karaoke night.

Artist Bio(s)
Ayla approaches performance as a practice in presence, where every gesture is alive and the audience is part of the collaboration. Her classrooms are equal parts precision and play, where students are encouraged to fail big, get up, and do the brave thing. To try again.
She has spent the last five years teaching and devising theatre across the country.
She holds multiple theatre degrees but that isn't what she'd lead with.
