Artist Bio(s)

Richie Schiraldi is a Chicago-based multi-disciplinary physical and devised theatre maker specializing in circus, movement,  He is often inspired by his wildly vivid dreams,  psychogeography,  and old surrealist films and performance art. Richie is Co-Artistic Director of Whisper Theatre, which creates original and experimental physical theatre, often touring nationally and internationally. The Mothman Cometh,  his current solo project, uses the character of the Mothman (beloved cryptic creature known to West Virginia and Chicago) to playfully approach dark and vulnerable topics with the audience through a variety of games, rituals, and other audience participation.
