Bridget Bean comes from Yorkshire, England and moved to the USA in 1995. In Tampa, FL, she appeared in many productions including the one-person plays Shirley Valentine, Talking Heads, and Underneath the Lintel, which ignited her love affair with the solo format and inspired her to create her own solo plays. Bean is perhaps best known for her award-winning show Mrs. Bliss’s Titanic Adventure which she performed at Orlando and Tampa fringe festivals and Sarasota’s Sarasolo Festival. In her latest play, The Dropping Well, Bridget returns to her Yorkshire roots with the tale of (real-life) soothsayer Mother Shipton.
